The entire island is very small and only takes approximately 40 minutes to travel from one end to the other. Buses and taxis are readily available, but these are not convenient and efficient methods of travel as they normally will not take you to many of the main attractions. You would be better off renting a car and touring the island at your own pace. This is the best way to explore the countryside as well as out of the way areas that most tourists do not visit.

If you are on a budget, snorkeling and canoeing are two of the least expensive water sports to engage in.
