Spain and the many varied Spanish owned islands are one of the first things you might think of when talking about holidays. Indeed, millions of tourists from the UK flock to the country for holidays to Spain each year. The reason is obvious: there’s no closer piece of paradise to UK shores than that of Spain. The weather is warm but not oppressive, the beaches are sandy and the water is blue and clear. It couldn’t be more different from home and yet it’s only 4 hours away on a plane. What could be better?
Holidays to Spain can be enjoyed all year around, although you can’t enjoy time at the beach in the winter months so if you’re travelling between October and March Spain becomes more of sightseeing holiday, with the islands perfect for walking and hiking and certain parts of the mainland – the cities especially – perfect for sightseeing. Winter might not be warm, but it isn’t cold either and nothing like what we experience in the UK! Travelling in the colder months means you’ll save a huge amount on both flights and accommodation as the summer season winds to a close.
Holidays to Spain can greatly benefit from all inclusive deals, especially during the summer. The strong Euro means that eating out will cost you quite a bit of cash so being able to tie your food and drinks bill together with your room could certainly save you money. This is perfect for anyone going to the Spanish coast and wants a simple beach holiday – if you’re straying further from the resort or plan to spend your days sightseeing, half board might be a better idea.
Holidays to Spain encompass everything from the budget beach holiday to the 18-30 party holiday or cultural trips around Spain’s rich and plentiful attractions. Holidays to Spain are great for all ages from the youngest of kids to veteran travellers but to avoid booking a holiday that won’t be right for you do some research first. Even different resorts on the same small island can make a huge difference to your experience!
